We are very excited to see A Moment’s Peace Theatre Company coming back to us this August to develop their new show I Could Eat a Horse, a brave new play to explore our tumultuous relationship with food and set to uncover the joys and the injustices in the meals we cook, eat and share.
Now here's your chance to get involved: artistic director Catrin Evans and co-lead artist Maryam Hamidi would like to speak to local Aberdeenshire residents’ about their experience of food and your input will help inform the stories and characters for the theatre production in 2012.
From cooking it, to growing it, to experiencing the arrival of supermarkets and the shift in agriculture, they are looking to interview as broad a range of people as possible: chefs, farmers, local grocery store owners, supermarket assistants or simply individuals who would like to say something about their relationship with food both personally and as consumers.
So come and join them for a chat on Tuesday 9 August, 10am-5pm in Buchanans Bistro, contact maryam [at] amomentspeace [dot] co [dot] uk (subject: I%20Could%20Eat%20a%20Horse) beforehand to arrange best suitable time.
