Summer in the Barn

Although the weather is doing it's best to convince us otherwise, we are in the midst of summer here in Banchory which means it's technically our quiet period.  Many of our customers are away, the staff and volunteers take their holidays and bands are all away playing festivals.

So it's been a quiet month, but in the middle of this oasis of calm we have the sold out Laura Marling show tonight!  Hooray! 

It's really quite a coup for us to put on this show and we're very excited about it but it naturally raises a few logistical problems that don't crop up very often for us.  New kit has been bought in, we've reviewed our ticketing procedures and ensured that everyone is fully briefed so we can run a smooth gig this evening.  Now all we need is for the weather to hold out and we'll have a perfect night!

If you're coming along tonight then please remember to take your confirmation email if you bought tickets online and we will swap that for tickets at the door.  Doors open at 7.30pm.

Finally, if you don't have a ticket please don't come on the off chance of getting one, car parking space is limited and to get to the venue you drive up a single track road.  Getting back down once we've told you there's no tickets will be tricky as other cars are arriving.
