Edinburgh based musician Neil Pennycook began performing under the name Meursault in 2006 and has forged a path through the forest of dull, try hard indie bands by crafting a sound best described as epic lo-fi.

Burning Harpsichord Series presents: Simon Waters + Ross Whyte Rhodri Davies who was originally scheduled for this night has won a prestigious award and has to go to New York (with our warm congratulations).  Thankfully Bill has arranged a sterling replacement in Simon Waters with equally talented support from Ross Whyte

Kirsty McGee brings her honest, delicate and literate songwriting back out on the road and breathes Spring into the Barn.

Paul Barritt and Rachel Isserlis (violins), Jonathan Barritt (viola), Josephine Horder and Sebastian Comberti (cellos) make up this outstanding ensemble. All five are top ranking players with a wealth of concert experience.

Our Folk Sessions are always held on the last Friday of the month at 8pm at Crathes Hall. If you play an instrument, sing or just want to listen, come and join in, you’ll be made very welcome.
