Deliverance: The Hazey Janes with support from Riley Briggs and Kirsten Adamson

Deliverance is our new irregular night, luring the best bands from the cities and abandoning them in the country.  All new music, all under a tenner.  The Hazey Janes, hailing from the metropolis of Dundee, will fire up the opening night of Deliverance with their country-rock-indie-pop fusion.

Support comes from Riley Briggs (Aberfeldy) and Kirsten Adamson (Gillyflowers).

The Hazey Janes have the honour of being the first Dundee band to play at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas AND be invited back.  Their new album "The Winter That Was' is released on October 24th and its palette of chunky chords, wistful lyrics and lush-as harmonies will fill the planet with sunshine and exultation, proving that this band are returning, pumped full of pop vitamins like Big Star on steroids and ready to take on the world again.

In the UK they have headlined many gigs plus provided support for Snow Patrol, Idlewild and Gorky's Zygotic Mynci. Their third album The Winter That Was  will be released on October 24th.

So if you are as excited as we are, then squeal like a pig and share on facebook and twitter to help spread the word. Deliverance is here.

We're putting on a bus to the Deliverance nights leaving Aberdeen at 6.45pm from Schoolhill and taking you to our door.  It'll then drop you back in town after the gig.  All for £8 and tickets can be bought online as you buy a ticket for the gig.
