Film: Sunrise, A Song of Two Humans with live music by Graeme Stephen Quintet

Award-winning Aberdeen-born guitarist Graeme Stephen has composed a powerful new score to accompany Frank Murnau’s visual masterpiece Sunrise (USA 1927 cert U), considered by many to be the finest silent film ever made by a Hollywood studio.
The live soundtrack brings a radically modern perspective to the film, harnessing influences from various musical styles including folk, classical and jazz and featuring the scintillating instrumental talents of Chris Stout on violin, Ben Davis on cello, Phil Bancroft on saxophone and Chris Wallace on drums and percussion.
