Kirsty McGee

Kirsty and Brigid
Friday 23 Mar 2012 8:00pm

Kirsty McGee brings her honest, delicate and literate songwriting back out on the road and breathes Spring into the Barn.

McGee is held in high esteem by Karine Polwart and Annie Grace, labelled by some as a 'national treasure' and by others as a cult figure in UK songwriting. Finding its maverick roots in styles as diverse as folk, jazz, chanson and Americana, her unique work is held together by her lyrical style and astonishing voice.

Support will come in the form of Kentucky singer-songwriter Brigid Kaelin, described as 'singer, accordionista, sawista, pianista, yodeler, redhead.'
