Woodend Barn is a unique venue, 30 minutes drive from Aberdeen, on the edge of Banchory in beautiful Royal Deeside and a refreshing alternative to a city centre setting. We can cater for all private events from weddings and parties to small and large scale meetings, conferences and corporate entertainment.

The Barn can easily be adapted to suit the size of your function. Our onsite restaurant Buchanans can provide a very high, professional standard of catering and bar service and entertainers of every description to ensure your event's success. We can also assist with your accommodation requirements in nearby Banchory.

Extensive grounds around Woodend Barn, including an acre of wild garden, are perfect for wedding photos or a relaxing stroll between meetings.

We have three hire areas: the main performance space, easily tailored to your needs, the Lang Byre Gallery and a small meeting room.

Your hire of Woodend Barn makes a valuable contribution to the promotion of the arts on Deeside as all income is used to develop and support arts workshops or performances.

Guidance about hiring the Barn

We have three separate categories for hire of the Barn:

• Private or Corporate Functions including weddings, parties and ceilidhs where the public are not invited
• Fund-raising events for charitable or other good causes where tickets are available to the public
• Staged Performances or concerts where tickets are available to the public.
