Buchanans Bistro

Buchanans is a light, bright and airy space in which to relax, eat and converse. Join us in meeting friends and making friends.

From 9am the Bistro dispenses fairtrade coffees, loose tea and herbals, excellent soft drinks as well as cakes and pastries. A flexible food offering is available from 12 noon for lunch and lighter meals. From 6pm the café bustle slows and the mood changes. Candles are lit, wine boards are available and our evening set menu comes into play.

Freshly baked sourdough breads, hot soup, cold beer, artisan cheeseboards and great sunsets are all on the menu.

Pre-concert tables are available but best booked. Fully licensed, we serve wines and beers from 11am

Biscuits and books, lotions and potions, cards and candles - we have a small retail offering reflecting local talent.

Open from 9am - 10pm 7 days a week (except Monday evening - unless there is a gig  event)
