All income generated from Lang Byre workshops and exhibitions is used for further development of the gallery programme.

Gay Halley’s semi-abstract and abstract work is about the expressive use of colour, shape and form. She has an eclectic range of subjects from sky, sea, mountainscape and even graffiti on an Italian door. Irene Strachan finds inspiration in geometric form. Her work has a linear quality that she softens with layers of colour. Her aim is to combine form, balance, tone and harmony. Mena Castledine is a sculptor who works with recycled metal using welding and brazing techniques. She is inspired by organic forms, animals and their reaction to the natural world.
