Woodend Barn is a unique venue at the heart of a vibrant art, music and food community. If you are looking for something a little out of the ordinary, a day that truly reflects you as a couple, then come and talk to us. Your wedding day can be anything you want it to be, let your creative side free and we will accommodate your needs. However you wish to express the union of you and your true love, whether you have a theme in mind (and we've seen a few brilliant ones) or something more traditional, we are here to help. It is your day, why shouldn't you have exactly what you want?

The Barn's flexible space is run by skilled and adaptable people who are passionate about providing the best and have years of experience in putting on a professional show. We can comfortably seat up to 120 guests at round or rectangular tables.

The Lang Byre, our gallery space, can be transformed into an intimate ceremony room that seats up to 75 people and both the Byre and the Barn are licenced for civil marriages/partnerships. We welcome all types of ceremony.

The brilliant Buchanans (next door, links to sample menues to come) can provide a range of catering and bar services (they hold the alcohol licence) tailored personally to your wedding needs with the emphasis on local, seasonal and organic. We are very proud of their principles and they come highly recommended by their patrons and, of course, by us.

Should you wish to bring your own caterer, we have a small catering kitchen adjacent to the Lang Byre. We can recommend local caterers depending on your preferences. From hog roasts to many courses, anything is possible.

Accommodation is available locally to suit all budgets, from B&Bs to country house hotels, just ask us. We can supply audio visual equipment and technical support as required. As you might expect, we have an amazing list of contacts for music and entertainment.

For your photographs, inside the Barn the exposed stonework and artwork make for an interesting backdrop. Outside, the Wild Garden offers an amazing natural panorama, each season bringing with it spectacular colours and an ever-changing sky.
